How to use the MTN upgraded Please Call Me Back Service.
Hello to all the Y’ellos. Did you noticed something wrong with your network, on the issue of call me back text messages?
When you sends the message, and a reply comes this way: “Welcome to MTN Call Me Back Service. Please enter the number”?
So many of you have been wondering what this really means. And as such, put in any number but at the end, nothing was received by the recipient, after you have been told that the format of the number you have entered is invalid.
Now, this is the right thing to do.
It is not requesting for any number, order than the personal line you are to send the message to.
Let’s not talk too much. Just follow the guide below.

Dial: *133*Recipient's_Number#

For example, *133*08061234567#

MTN will immediately send a text message to the number you dialled.

Oops! That was then, today, it is no longer so.
Everything is changed.
The loop I discovered is that you can even send call back to yourself as well. Lolz.

HOW CAN I SEND THE MESSAGE WITH THIS NEW METHOD?
You can do it by dialling:

*133* Recipient's_Number #
Or
*133#

They both will arrive at the same destination, which is: “Welcome to MTN Call Me Back Service. Please enter the number”.
And if the number is 08061234567, input it in the text box that comes up when you press Answer.

Then, the next process asks for the type of message that will display.
The first one says: “call me” and so on. So press answer to select any of the options and that’s all.
If you select 1, the text message will read, "Please call 08031234567. Thank you."
Where 08031234567 is your phone number.
The text message will arrive as if you sent it directly from your phone i.e. if the recipient has stored your number on his/her phone, your name will appear as the sender.

Now, if you are wondering about the loop I mentioned above, about sending the text by yourself, to yourself. Try this.

When you have dialled *133# and sees “Welcome to MTN Call Me Back Service. Please enter the number”.
Enter your number instead, and see what happens in next two seconds. *winks*

Please note this. With Call Me Back service, you can now send an unlimited number of Call Me messages every day, FOR FREE!!!
No longer restricted to only 5 phone numbers again.
Even more, with your MTN line, you can send messages across to your family and friends to call you when you have run out of credit or during an emergency.
